Saturday morning, Phillip and I went to a place called Dinosaurs Unleashed! (Phillip loves dinosaurs, so was super excited to go there!) This place has animatronic dinosaurs! They were life size replicas and they moved and roared! It was pretty fascinating! Ok, so maybe it was geared more toward kids…but we’re just big kids at heart, so it’s all good! Then we ate lunch at Pizza Express! We shared a value meal – a garlic cheese appetizer and a pepperoni pizza. Absolutely delicious! After that, we took another train to Greenwich Observatory. We had lots of fun taking pictures on the zero degree longitude line! One foot in the East and one in the West…pretty cool!!! Then we walked across the Thames River on a footbridge that goes UNDER THE RIVER! That freaked me out a little, but was actually pretty cool! We then took another train to the site where they are building everything for the 2012 Olympics! That was really neat to see! They are building a huge shopping mall there. It looks like it will have 300 stores! Crazy! They had pictures that showed all the plans for the Olympics. Neat! Phillip is really sad that we won’t be here for the Olympics! We took a train back to Slough, where we planned to go grocery shopping at Tesco. We were starving though and knew shopping would take awhile, so we went to McDonalds for dinner. I tried something new – a sweet chili chicken sandwich. It was delicious!!! I would definitely order that again! Then we splurged on some things at Tesco while grocery shopping. We bought a tower fan for 24 pounds! (It was either that or a tiny little desktop fan for 10 pounds.) We don’t want to sleep with windows open since we don’t have screens on our windows. We know as the weather gets warmer, we’ll probably be miserable at times, cooped up in our flat. So we figured this was a good splurge! It was LATE by the time we got home and put everything away! It was a fun day, but wore me out! I slept 11 hours that night and 11 hours again Sunday night!!!!!!

You could paint a picture of a dinosaur on a computer screen and the image was then projected onto a white dino. Phillip liked what I painted, but said "You would have to choose a pink dinosaur!!!"

The neatest clock ever! This sundial actually tells time! There are numbers on the bottom, but you can't see them in the pic. The place where the 2 tails come together tells you what time it is! The time was correct too! I want one!!!

Prime Meridian Line - one foot in the West and one in the East! (zero degrees longitude)
