Yesterday, Phillip and I went to Covent Gardens! It’s a really neat shopping area with tons of weird little stores that were fun to explore. There are also lots of crazy expensive stores there! We enjoyed looking around at everything weird! We also went to Harrod’s again…that’s the HUGE store that seriously has everything you can imagine there! It was more fun looking in the Baby section this time, since we now know that Baby is a girl! Hehehe! We also went to Hamley’s, which is a HUGE toy store! It has six floors!!!! It’s really neat and I have no idea how you would ever get a kid to leave that store! Stores around here are really smart too – they have lots of workers demonstrating toys/games/products. They show you and let you try them out even! It’s certainly a good way to get more people to buy your products!!! It was a fun day - just goofing off, exploring, and spending time together!
Phillip spent this morning studying. This afternoon, we went to Slough movie theater for the first time! We actually saw two movies!!! (Figured if we were spending taxi money to get there and back, we might as well make good use of it!) We saw Pirates of the Caribbean and X-Men, two movies that Phillip has really been wanting to see! I’m glad he finally got to see them! It was a nice, relaxing day! It was the perfect day to be inside because it was raining and chilly all day! Yuck! He is spending this evening studying again.
We have our 28 week midwife appointment tomorrow morning! So excited!!!!!
I just met someone tonight who's husband went to SGU on Grenada. A year was spent in England, where they had their baby boy. She loved the experience and only had good things to say... I'm a little jealous! She even had a nurse who would come to her house and check on her and the baby for the first 4 days!!!
